Last night I was lucky enough to go to the Next X Company Magazine event called #ShoeBoxJukeBox in a cool pop up store in Shoreditch. My blogger babe Charlotte from Crave Green Velvet won the tickets in a competition and invited me along – what a babe!!
Everyone whom attended the event got to pick a pair of shoes from Next’s website to wear on the night and I chose these amazing lace up sandals with a small wedge. I’d been wanting a pair of lace up shoes for so long so when I spotted these in their shoe range I just had to have them. I love the fact they’re a low wedge too so I can wear them everyday. I didn’t want a pair of high, high heels as I tend to opt for flatforms when I go out now as my feet always kill in heels. I also wanted a fab pair of evening sandals for when I go on holiday to America! And these are the perfect fit.
I actually wore this exact outfit last night, but I wanted to take some nice shots outside in the sunshine for you all to see as it’s actually one of my fave looks I’ve put together recently.
Styling up the sandals I opted for my ripped skinny jeans, 90s slogan crop top and vintage lace jacket. The slogan crop features green in the graphic so tying in the mint green jacket works well. I love styling this way by picking out key shades and working them together.
I’m actually in love with these snaps I took today. The shadows from the tree, the sunshine, the outfit – it just all works! So pleased with how these turned out & with these shoesies!!
