FITBIT CHARGE HR | DEBENHAMS

Lifestyle
So you might be thinking, this is a different post for Sophie Hannah Richardson. And well, yes it is! But if you were a follower of my Blog a year ago you will know that I got in on the Ballot to run the London Marathon 2015. I can’t express enough how amazing it was. As you can all tell I’m not in to healthy eating or my fitness, however I wanted to do something big and challenge myself. I used to be quite sporty and fit when I was younger, but since growing up, fashion and beauty have taken over and are now my biggest interests. I never had time for fitness and always found it boring. But when I entered and got into the London Marathon I knew I had to get back into it because otherwise, how the hell was I going to run 26.5 miles. But I did. After months of training, injuries and emotions I managed to complete it! I was SO chuffed with myself. However I’m now gutted with myself because afterwards I stopped running. I think it was because I felt like I had accomplished everything and had no more goals to work towards. I have kept saying time and time again oh I’ll go back running, I will do it again. I even entered the Marathon again but this time unfortunately didn’t get in.

But, the other day I entered myself into a 10K run. So now I need to get myself back into shape and back into running. And what’s going to help me… My new Fitbit Charge HR band thanks to Debenhams.
This little rubber wristband is amazing. It tracks your heart rate, steps taken, calories burned and even sleep. All of this is linked wirelessly to the Fitbit app which you can install for free on your phone.
I much prefer this spec of Fitbit to the Fitbit Flex. The Charge HR has smart track which automatically knows when you’re exercising, you don’t need to do anything apart from workout. I also love the addition of the heart rate monitor, it’s an important thing to take notice of when working out. And lastly it acts as sort of an Apple watch and notifies you when you have a call coming in – very handy!
I would totally recommend this spec of Fitbit, you can keep it on all the time, there’s no need to take it off. It also comes in lots of fabulous colours which you can match your gym wear to.
