So if you follow me on Snapchat (SHRstyling) or Instagram (@sophiehannahrichardson) you would have seen that I got to be a part of a mermaid inspired shoot recently! Well, here’s the behind the scenes and final photos! I’m so excited to show you all as the makeup is amazing and so mermaid-esque!
I met up with the girls behind Go Get Glitter, a makeup and body art company in London, and they basically turned me into a mermaid for a few hours with the help of The Braid Bar for hair and Jaded Ldn for the wardrobe!
It was so much fun and I loved seeing what products they used to turn me into a mermaid. They had pre-made their own body glitters and there were huge tubs of them! Any wannabe mermaids dream!
For the makeup they focused on creating glitter eyes and then scales for the rest of my face. For the hair it was braided into 3 little plaits and pom poms were woven in. I loved this creative look, I hadn’t seen pom poms in the hair before so it was cool to do something different and new.
The wardrobe was pretty cool too! I absolutely love Jaded Ldn and there were some really amazing pieces from the brand such as a unitard, silky playsuit and neon swimsuit!
For the location, we headed to one of Go Get Glitter’s family friends house, which was unreal! They had this really cool fish tank which we used as the backdrop first of all and then we headed outside for the rest of the shots.
