I’m in love with how these photos turned out! I had a vision and I’m so happy with the results. This was shot in my new house, which I made sure was painted white before I moved in. I hated the magnolia colour it was previously; it was dull and didn’t do anything. My boyfriend and I wanted everything to be white as we knew we wanted white furniture in some rooms and having everything white meant the rooms felt a little bigger. I am in love with our floorboards too. They were a funny beige, coral colour, so we made sure they were painted over as well. It’s created the perfect set up for me to be able to do some indoor shoots.

The chair is from eBay and cost just under £30. There are actually designer chairs of this same style that are worth over £300! Obviously we couldn’t afford that, so when we came across them on eBay we had to order them! They don’t feel cheap though, the metal legs are really sturdy.

The white backdrop and black chair came in handing whilst shooting this star print coord from Prettylittlething. I had a nice monochrome theme going on and it was fun trying to pose on the chair. There were many shots where I was like, what the hell am I doing! It’s actually really hard trying to make it look natural and good.

I paired my patent flatforms I got last summer from Topshop with the look and my DIY choker I recently made at a Boohoo event; it matched the outfit perfectly as it featured a star in the centre.

This outfit is great for the festival and holiday summer season and the outfit needs little styling as it’s a whole outfit already being a coord.
