With summer on its way – well we hope – I’ve started thinking about my summer wardrobe. I can’t wait for the day I can finally put away my knitwear and layers and get some skin out. All of my recent new clothes have been picked with summer in mind and the kind of outfits I’m thinking about wearing over the next few months.
I have a few ideas of the kind of looks I want to go for and one of them is easy, minimal styling. You know where you have those days where you just want something easy to throw on? Or something to layer over swimwear whilst walking about? I spotted this Grey Ribbed Dress on Boohoo and thought it was perfect for that kind of day. It’s lightweight, simple and something that would pair well with sneakers or sandals. I’ve recently started having an attraction to grey clothing, so I think that’s another reason I was drawn to the dress.
Styling it up, I didn’t really go that summery as I popped my pink fur coat on! I came across my pink Puma trainers in my wardrobe and thought they’d be perfect to wear with the dress because of their grey sole. And then to tie in with the pink, I knew my fur coat would be fab!
Such a simple outfit, but it looks pretty cool!
