I’ve been struggling with my hair recently as it’s been breaking off a lot in my sleep. Probably because I’ve been sleeping with wet hair, but even when my hair is dry it always mattes together and is hard to manage the next day. I recently attended Push PR’s press day and bumped into the founders of SILKE London, who have created a silk hair wrap.
They filled me in about the brand and informed me that many women had already reviewed their product and felt a big difference in their hair from only 1 night using it. They got me really excited about their product and I was lucky enough to be sent one to try out. Obviously they sent me the blue and green one to match my hair!
I’ve worn it for about 3 weeks now. I wear it almost every night I go to sleep, the other nights my hair is wet and I make sure I french plait it. I’ve used the wrap on my hair when it’s been down, braided and in a half up half down hair style, and every time my hair has stayed in the exact same condition as the night before. It’s amazing to wake up with your hair still looking the same. It makes it manageable during the working week as it takes less time to do your hair in the morning!
I have also noticed a little difference in my hair too. When I wake up, it’s not matted together or tangled. It used to look a little dry and knotty but now it looks shiny and soft. It’s crazy that just one product can change everything.
My boyfriend laughs at me though when I wear it, but he got used to it quickly! I’m not the most attractive person with no makeup and a hair wrap on! But I don’t care as it’s helping my damaged hair a lot at the moment!
