I’ve embraced the Monday blues and styled a blue themed outfit for you all. I’ve had this blue suede bomber for a while now, from Rokit Vintage, and when my Missguided blue skirt arrived I got so excited as the colours practically matched! So obviously I had to style them together!
You all know I love matching pieces within an outfit, but I didn’t want to go too overboard and wear a blue top too. So I decided to pair a print body with the look instead, but that kept inline with the colour palette. The print of the body is made up of greys and blues so this tied in well. When it came to accessories, I thought I’d add a bit more grey into the outfit to break it up, so my faux suede over the knee boots were my first choice, and I think these worked well.
You might have noticed a different backdrop in this shoot. And that’s because I’ve finally moved house and I’m back to my roots in Essex! Yes… I’m an Essex girl! I’m still yet to go on a stroll around my area to pin point the best places to shoot so I kept it easy and popped out the front of my new house and used my blue backdoor – yes, more blue! But hey, it works!
This is definitely a bold look and not everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it kind of works!
