Today I was lucky enough to be asked along to Citadel Festival with TOPSHOP Beauty, to celebrate the launch of their new festival makeup range. Think face glitters, hair glitters, glitter liners and metallic eyeshadows.
The festival is set in London’s Victoria Park and we were so lucky with the weather. We spent all afternoon there, tucking into tasty food from the stalls, checking out the festival fashion, listening to chilled tunes and relaxing. It was the perfect festival for a Sunday.
TOPSHOP Beauty sent me a fabulous selection of their new festival makeup for me to try out and create a festival look for Citadel. My finished look is below and I used their gold/pink face glitter which I kept around my eyes, their gold metallic shadow on my eyelids, their gold glitter liner under my brow and finishing off with glitter on my roots. It paired perfectly with my shiny silver swimsuit body and glistening sequin jacket also from TOPSHOP. Prior to the festival, I was treated to a personal shopping experience in TOPSHOP’s Oxford Street store. It was really exciting as I had never had a personal shopping session before. The stylist was really helpful and was brief beforehand with me informing them I loved anything with sequins. The look I created was perfect for a chilled Sunday festival and the jacket was the perfect statement piece for my outfit.
