THINGS TO DO IN LONDON - Sophie Hannah

A few weekends ago I spent a whole day in London with my blogger babe Paige Joanna and we had such a fab day! So I thought I’d pop together a little blog post on things to do in London to give you some ideas if you’re heading up there for the day.

We started our day in Dalston where we visited the instafamous Molly Bakes for one of their signature freak shakes! I lost my freak shake virginity about a month ago when I tried my first one at Sensations in Holloway Road, but after finding it absolutely delicious I had to try another one. I went for Molly Bake’s caramel freak shake with a chocolate chip cookie on top and my god it was tasty. Such a simple and delicious dessert idea.

It’s best to get down to Molly Bakes pretty early, especially on a Saturday, as I’ve heard they do get queues out the door.

After our freak shake we decided to walk from Dalston to Shoreditch, stopping at a few cute shops on the way. Then we hopped on our bus and headed down to Angel where we went to check out Dirty Martini’s newest bar. They’ve got a lush summer menu there at the moment, so we tried one of their platters and a few of their Gin & Tonic cocktails. It was a lovely way to end a sunny afternoon in London. I took a snap of their summer drinks menu which you can see below; they’ve got a delicious range of exclusive drinks on offer. It was also lovely sitting in the front window watching the world go by on Angel’s main high street.

Now there’s so many more things to do in London, but sometimes it is nice to just stroll through the city and see where you stumble across. Both Dalston and Angel are lovely places to visit in London, so I’d definitely explore those areas if you’re wanting to try somewhere new.
