5 FACTS ABOUT ME YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE KNOWN

I still can’t quite believe that I hit 200K on my Instagram recently; it’s absolutely crazy! I also find it surreal that so many people follow me and my journey but they don’t really know me. So I thought I’d share 5 facts about me you might not have known.

1. I’m based in the UK

I get a lot of comments on social media asking where I’m from, or assuming I’m from somewhere. I recently had a backlash of negative comments on my halloween clown tutorial from people in America. Obviously I can understand now why they commented so negatively, however most news takes a day or two to travel over to the UK, so I was completely unaware of the clown goings on overseas.

2. I hate the sea

I know, crazy right! I’m a wannabe mermaid and I hate the sea and everything in it! I never used to when I was younger, but I think the older I got, the more thoughts I had about what could be lurking in the water.

3. I used to DJ

Ok, so I wasn’t some famous amazing DJ, but I did used to take charge and DJ at a local bar. People would hire out the venue and I would DJ for their parties.

4. When I first went bleach blonde, I dyed it myself

Yup, I was brave and bleached my hair at home in my bathroom! I had gone to a salon and they wanted to charge me a few hundred pounds which wasn’t very appealing to be honest; so I went to Sally’s beauty store, purchased my own bleach and just went for it. It was orange for a few days but after a few bleaching attempts and some toner, I had white hair! Well worth it!

5. I used to be petrified of dogs

Like seriously scared! I think it was mainly the fear of getting bitten that scared me. But when my family got a few dogs a few years back, I was obviously forced in the same room as them and started to learn to like them. It wasn’t until I got my own dog, my little Luna, that I conquered my fear. I never thought I’d see myself opening a dogs mouth and sticking my hands in to get stones out (Luna has a thing for stones)!
