REED HAIR

My hair was desperately in need of some TLC, so I decided to check out one of my local salons, Reed Hair in Maldon, Essex. My hair gets to a point where it starts to get quite dry and break off and I then realise it’s time for a trim. You’d think being a beauty blogger who offers lots of hair tutorials that I would look after my hair. But that’s not the case. My blog keeps me so busy that I neglect my locks.  Because of the condition of my hair, I went to Reed Hair for an Olaplex treatment and trim. 

Arriving at the salon I was warmly greeted by the owner and staff; they took my coat and took me for a little tour. The salon is beautiful! It’s got a very warm, inviting atmosphere and they make you feel so at home. The salon is set over 2 floors offering a range of hair and beauty treatments. Up stairs is a very homely waiting room which is more like a living area and I chilled there until my stylist was ready.

My appointment began with the Olaplex treatment followed by a cut, blow dry and style. I only needed a trim, so I got a few inches chopped off and my hair styled back into a long bob, with the back a little bit shorter than the front.

I’m really happy with how my hair turned out and loved the fact they offer the Olaplex as a treatment without having to colour my hair. They even gave me some at home Olaplex to continue the treatment in the comfort of my own home, as this will help to continue to repair my locks.

I had a pleasant pampering session at Reed Hair and I’d definitely recommend checking out their website to see more of what they offer.
