How jazzy are my glitter eyebrows?! I keep seeing this brow look pop up on my Instagram and YouTube and being a huge fan of glitter I just had to give it a go. I was inspired by YouTuber Tiona Chantel who created ombre glitter brows and really loved her technique.
THINGS YOU’LL NEED
Obviously you are going to need glitter! I would avoid chunky glitter for your brows as it will be much harder to apply, especially if you’ve got fairly thin brows like mine. I opted for glitter dust and used two shades from NYX Cosmetics (02 & 09) and one from Lime Crime (Ophiuchus). To make sure the glitter stuck to my brows and stayed in place I used a glitter pomade called Metal Fix from Redken. It’s meant to be for your hair, so be careful using it around your eyes, make sure you only apply it to your brows.
THE PROCESS
To begin the application, I started by applying the Metal Fix to my brows using a thin brush. This was then followed by applying each glitter, starting with the silver shade and working my way into the hot pink. I made sure I overlapped each glitter when it came to blending into the next shade; this allowed for a smooth transition into each colour instead of it looking like I had three sections.
I’m really pleased with how the brows turned out. I think they’re perfect for a festival or if you want to jazz up a simple makeup look like I’m sporting below. If you’d like to see the actual process happen right in front of your eyes you can catch my YouTube tutorial here.
