KEN CLUB, PARIS

Whilst in Paris with Claire’s we were taken to Ken Club for a day at the spa. We had access to the swimming pool, steam room and gym and were all allowed either a facial or a massage.

The spa was located quite close to the Eiffel Tower, around a 20 minute drive from our hotel. It was lovely as it was tucked out the back of a building, so you wouldn’t have noticed it was there. When you enter Ken Club, you’re shown the changing rooms and you get to grab a Ken Club dressing gown and towel. We all changed into our swimwear and headed straight to the pool.

I spent an hour or so relaxing by the indoor pool and then I opted for a massage as I had still had a slight crick in my neck from a few weeks before. Oh my god. It was amazing! The lady didn’t put too much pressure on my body, it was just right for me. It was a full body massage, so she worked into my back, shoulders and neck, legs and chest. I haven’t had many massages before, but it was definitely up there as being one of the best. The treatment took around an hour and when it was finished it was time for lunch.

There wasn’t much choice on the menu, and with it being in french it was difficult to understand. However one of their members of staff was so helpful and he basically said we could have any pasta we wanted, so I went for Salmon; and what a great choice as it was bloody delicious!

After lunch, we chilled for a few more hours to get ourselves prepped for our afternoon Yoga class. This was the second time at doing Yoga and I really enjoyed it. Some moves were difficult, I think it was more holding myself in a position for about 10 seconds. I just don’t have the strength like I used to have. The class was great though and we were even treated to a delicious, healthy juice after.

If you’re looking for somewhere to relax in Paris for the day, then I’d definitely recommend this spa. The staff are extremely friendly and it’s got everything you need to chill out.
