PINK GLITTER MAKEUP

You all know how much I love glitter, so this year I decided that any time I shoot/film a makeup look, it’s always going to have some element of glitter in it. Just like this pink glitter makeup right here in this blog post. I’ve found that one reason people follow me is because of my glitter makeup tutorials, especially during the festival season. So because you share my love of glitter as well, I thought I’d feature more of it! You can never have enough glitter can you.

I recently filmed a Split Hair Dye tutorial for my YouTube channel (which you can see here); and I received a lot of requests for a tutorial of the makeup I was sporting whilst filming. I have since filmed this look and it’s on my YouTube channel if you’d like to see the application process. I always love to play around when it comes to makeup, and the reason I themed this particular look all pink was because I was shooting my Unicorn and Mermaid Gift Guide (I know, way before Christmas), and I wanted some sparkly makeup to compliment the theme of the video.

As you can see I opted for metallic pink eyes with holographic glitter sprinkled down my cheek bones and to compliment the eyes, I went for a metallic pink lip. Who says you can’t wear metallic shades on your eyes and lips at the same time?! This whole look is actually really simple to recreate and would be perfect for a night out with the girls or even a summer festival. Once your base is on, I started by applying the pink metallic eyeshadow from Lime Crime, it’s one of their Superfoils shades. (They’re actually sold out now, but you can get something similar from NYX here). I applied the shadow to the top and bottom of my lids, followed by patting a little Mac Reflects Gold pigment on both cheekbones. I then layered some holographic face glitter over the Mac pigment using Go Get Glitters glue to keep it in place. I finished the eyes off with black mascara and bold brows, using the products listed below. For the finishing touch, I contoured my lips using Huda Beauty’s Lip Liner and applied Lime Crime’s metallic Velvetine in Happi. I felt like such a unicorn once the makeup look was complete!
