WHAT I WORE IN NEW YORK CITY

Before I went to New York City, I sat down and had a little think about the content I wanted to shoot out there, and I knew I had to capture my outfits. I planned my outfits before I went so I knew exactly what I would be wearing. I knew we’d be doing a lot of walking, so comfy shoes was a must and I also checked the weather because I wanted to pack the right sort of garments.It said the weather was going to be up and down over the 6 days I was there, ranging from about 5-18 degrees. Slightly annoying, but I always get quite chilly anyway and thought if I packed warm coats, I could always take these off and carry them if the weather got on the warmer side.

Planning outfits when you’re going away and trying to stick to your luggage allowance is always tricky, but I made it easier with a few things. All of my outfits went with the colour black; this made it easier as both of my black coats I took worked with all of my looks and also both of my shoes I brought as well. I mixed between trousers and skirts for my outfits and everything I wore was really comfy; nothing was too tight fitting or annoying to wear. I find it’s good to try your outfits on before going on a city break because you’ll be in those clothes all day long, so you want to be comfortable.
