MY EVERYDAY HAIR ROUTINE WITH KENRA

Beauty

I’ve recently started introducing a few new hair products into my everyday hair routine from haircare brand, Kenra® Professional. They’re new to the UK and focus on high-quality, performance-driven products that are simple, straightforward and easy-to-use; three key things I look for when it comes to my daily routine. I never like to spend hours getting ready when I’m just going about my normal day. I want something quick but that will still help me create the hairstyle I’m going for.

My everyday hair consists of either keeping it straight or adding a wave, but I also like to make sure I’m looking after my hair whilst styling it. If you’ve got bleached hair like me, you’ve really got to look after it. Kenra® Professional have the perfect range for hair like mine called Revivewhich focuses on repairing and strengthening your hair. All of their products consist of luxurious ingredients and innovative technology which together help care for your hair; and what’s even better is that their products are really affordable.

EVERYDAY HAIR ROUTINE

My hair routine might actually start the night before if I’ve decided to shower and wash my hair in the evening. I used to sleep with my hair wet thinking that it was the best option for bleached hair as it meant not putting any heat on it. But I was wrong. This was actually damaging my hair and causing breakage. Since finding that out, I now make sure I blow dry, whether that’s before I go to bed, or in the morning if I’ve washed my hair first thing. After washing I apply the Revive Complex Leave-In Fortifierthis hydrates and protects my hair and improves the appearance of brittle ends – which I get a lot. I pump 3 drops into my hand and massage into my damp hair.

Next up I grab the Blow-Dry Spray which reduces blow-dry time by up to 50% and provides intense heat protection from damage and breakage, things my bleached hair needs. I then grab my hairdryer and roughly go over my hair to dry it.

Once my hair is dry I turn on my straighteners and whilst they’re heating up, I give my hair a few spritz with the Hot Spray. Again, this product protects from extreme heat, which is much needed as my straighteners get very hot. I then grab my straighteners and either section my hair and straighten, or like in my images, I section my hair and add a wave. I actually have a YouTube video on this technique I use to create a wave, so feel free to head on over to my YouTube channel to see that. I basically just move the straighteners back and fourth, twisting my wrist whilst doing so, to create a big crimped wave. It’s such an easy technique to do and it’s really effective.

Once all of my hair has either been straightened or waved, I then like to add a bit of volume and for this Dry Shampoo is a great product; I find it gives your hair a bit of an oomph. Dry Shampoo also comes in handy when I’m trying to keep my colour for longer by not washing my hair. I get asked a lot how my colour stays and that’s because sometimes I go 4 days without washing my locks.

To finish off my everyday hair, I like to add a little drop of the Revive Oil. This focuses on strengthening again and prevents signs of damage. It’s the ends of my hair that always look the most damaged so I try and concentrate on that area the most. Especially after using straighteners as it’s the ends of your hair when you pull away that can sometimes get caught or broken off. And once that’s applied I’m good to go!

Kenra® Professional don’t just focus on repairing and strengthening hair though; they offer products for moisturising, volume, thickening and so much more. There is a product for everyone, regardless of their hairstyling ability. Each product comes with a how-to on the back of the bottle making it really easy to use, which I love.
