IBIZA HEN PARTY

Fashion

You’ve probably already heard about my Ibiza hen party and the drama we endured. However, I don’t want to dwell on it too much as I honestly had the best hen party ever and I’m so grateful to my sister and now sister in law for what they organised for me. I have been to Ibiza quite a few times before and I’ve always had a laugh. There’s so much to do like eating out, clubbing or even relaxing, so I thought it would be the perfect setting for my hen. It took me a while to find a suitable villa, but after months of scrolling through Air BnB, a brand new villa popped up and it was available for the dates I wanted. It was a little pricey, however it was so worth it as it was honestly beautiful and it looked exactly like the photos. Now this is the villa where we got robbed, however it had never been robbed before, so I will link it in case anyone is interested or wants to see. Once the villa was sorted, it was time to let my sister and sister in law get planning.

THE IBIZA ITINERARY

The Ibiza itinerary was something I took charge in planning as I had a rough idea of the things I wanted to do: cocktails, dining out, Ushuaia, Elrow and watching the sun set at Mambos. Once I had put my ideas together, I passed this on to my planners and they added to it with surprises for me. The itinerary was honestly amazing and I loved the fact there were themes as it made it feel more like a hen party. My main concern was trying to have a hen party that wasn’t tacky, luckily my sisters know me very well and knew exactly what not to get… Nothing dick related! Although they did sneak a penis game into the villa from Firebox!

TUESDAY – The villa was set up, we had afternoon cocktails and finished with dinner and watching the sunset at Cafe Mambos

WEDNESDAY – Everyone wore bright colours and we had a rainbow pool party, followed by dinner at the villa and cocktails at Golden Buddha.

THURSDAY – We spent the day at Nikki Beach and ended with a party at the villa.

FRIDAY – We had another pool party at the villa and ended the evening with a beautiful dinner at Patchwork, Sa Punta.

SATURDAY – We got glittered up for Ushuaia and finished with partying at Elrow.

THE DECOR

A big part of the hen party was the villa, as that was where we were going to be spending most of our time. My sisters had a fabulous idea of decorating it and managed to kindly get gifted lots of bits from various shops. They made it look so colourful and everything worked really well together. The theme was tropical, keeping in line with my wedding and the fact we were in a sunny destination and they did such a good job at decorating. I remember having to hide upstairs in the bedroom whilst they were setting up as they wanted to do a big reveal! It was really exciting and emotional seeing what they had done for me, I honestly don’t think I could have done a better job! I’ve popped a list of everything the girls used to decorate below in case any of you are on the look out for any party bits!

HEN PARTY GOODIE BAGS

Another thing my sisters organised were the Ibiza hen party goodie bags! These were given to everyone on their arrival into the villa and were filled with some amazing things. From a Sophie’s Hen silk scarf, Primark straw bag, Quay sunglasses, ASOS Makeup, Sophie’s Hen Party custom jumper to a Craig David Mask. My Hen’s were sorted for the whole trip! And not only did they receive a goodie bag, they were gifted with Missguided pj’s and a Bride Squad dressing gown from Boohoo. Everyone absolutely loved their gifts!

With pretty much everyday in Ibiza being a theme of some sort, my sisters said to me to try and wear white or silver the whole time so I stood out as the Bride to be. I think I pretty much wore silver everyday apart from a few, but I always had a sash and veil to wear anyway. And because of my huge love of sequins and glitter, I think most of my outfits featured some sort of sparkle in some way. I think my favourite look has got to be my Nikki Beach outfit – everyone wore black and I wore a black and fully silver embellished swimsuit and also my Ushuaia outfit – glitter tits! That was out last day in Ibiza so I just had to go all out! I felt like such a glitter bride queen.

I had the most amazing itinerary, villa and decor, but what made it was the beautiful girls that made the effort to fly out to Ibiza to celebrate with me. I can’t thank them all enough! They gave me the most fun hen party ever, constant laughing, dancing and just having a bloody good time. Everyone got involved in everything and got along so well. I truly have the most amazing bunch of people in my life which I’m so grateful for and I’m so glad that, despite the ups and downs we went through at the beginning and end of the trip, we all had an unreal time and everyone got back home safe and sound. Ibiza, until next time.

Peace
