Last week I was invited down to Boohoo’s London showroom to take part in a Blogger Denim Workshop. When I arrived I was greeted by the lovely Boohoo girls and shown a sneak preview of some of their new bits that are going on their site soon. You definitely need to keep an eye on their website as there is some really nice bits coming.
Next we were taking into a little DIY room where we met one of the buyers from Boohoo and she showed us the new Denim range that will be dropping over the next few months. It was really interesting to hear all about what the buyers were looking at with Denim and their inspiration and ideas behind the designs.
Then we were let loose with emojis, iron on badges, stickers, buttons, lettering and paint; to DIY our own piece of Denim. I picked out this cute cropped Denim jacket from the rail to customised and then found this amazing blue haired badge of Wonder Woman – the Boohoo girls said when they saw it at the shop they had to buy it for me as they knew I’d love it – so cute! And I did! I picked that up and ironed it on to the front pocket. I contemplated about adding more to the jacket, but then sometimes you can go overboard and the simple things always look the best. So I just left it like that.
Iron on badges instantly give Denim a new look. It’s a great way to customise something in your wardrobe that you don’t wear anymore. Customised Denim will soon be hitting the high street, so why not get started now!
