I’d never normally opt for a long dress, however I love the style of this particular one with the fabric draping over one of my legs and the underneath being a mini dress. The slinky material is also pretty cool, to me it feels kind of 90s as when I think back to when I was in school, I remember a lot of the things I wore were made out of this material.
The chocolate brown colour is also something I’d never opt for, but I instantly thought how fab it would look paired with nude, brown makeup. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll notice I like matching colours within my outfits and matching my clothing and makeup is one thing that I find looks cool.
Please ignore my bloated belly in this though, I feel like I look slightly pregnant which isn’t good. I hate it when you have those days when you’re just bloated and don’t know why. Definitely should have worn spanks underneath!
Styling this dress up, I kept the accessories simple with these lace up black sandals from Fashion Pills and statement necklace from Primark. With dresses sometimes it’s nice to keep the rest of the outfit low key and make the dress the statement piece.
