Garment Quarter – the fusion of New York’s “Garment” District, Manchester’s Northern “Quarter” and designer fashion from across the globe – launched both online and in Bristol, 2010. You can find brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Victoria Beckham, Paul Smith, Mary Katrantzou, Comme des Garcons, and more in their store.
I had a sneaky look at their website selection and I’ve unfortunately fallen in love with a few bits… I have always had a love for Vivienne Westwood’s designs, I’ve got a few pieces from her that I’ve bought over the years. With AW in full swing, it’s got me thinking about layering, wrapping up warm and party wear. With that in mind, I managed to put a bit of a wish list together of products I’d love to add to my wardrobe. These will definitely be featuring on my Christmas list.
A pair of boots are an AW must have! They look fab styled with ripped denim jeans or tights and a grungy dress. The cape is another key item for the wardrobe, they’re fab to layer up over jumpers or under coats for extra warmth. AW is the season you can experiment with clothing, so I’m actually slightly looking forward to if it snows!
