Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year. Mainly because it involves another one of my favourite things… Fancy dress! Over the past few weeks I’ve decided to create a few different Halloween looks to offer my followers some inspiration – spooky and nice.
The first look I put together was inspired by the Native Americans. I absolutely love their tribal, aztec makeup they wore and have always wanted to create a makeup look similar. It’s not really a scary Halloween costume, but I know lots of people that opt for normal fancy dress over a ghoulish outfit.
I used Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration and created a sunset band across my eyes using Limecrime’s Venus Palette and Smashbox’s Art. Colour. Palette. For the white markings I used a white graphic liner from NYX Cosmetics. It was really easy to create this look, it was just all about blending.
For the outfit I scoured Boohoo’s sale and found some fab pieces that worked really well to create the costume – a camel, tassel co-ord and aztec shawl. For shoes I opted for my suede Ugg boots as I thought they worked well and because it’s getting rather chilly outside, I knew sandals were a no go.
To finish off the whole entire look I nipped to the fancy dress shop and purchased this amazing feather head dress for only £7.99.
