Are you heading away at the end of summer for some sunshine? Or maybe you have a winter trip booked? When it comes to wearing swimwear, I always make sure to pack a kimono. I’d like to think I have quite a bit of body confidence, if I like something, I’ll wear it, regardless of whether I feel and look fat in it. I wear what I want. However swimwear can be a difficult one; I’m happy wearing swimwear on the beach or around a pool, but wearing it and walking around, well I’d much prefer to cover my back half. Mainly because we know what other people are like, and if a girl has it all hanging out, someone is going to stare. I’m not bothered if they stare and judge me, but to save that I love wearing kimonos. They give you that extra bit of coverage when walking to and from the beach.
A kimono is how I like to style my swimwear. There’s so many different designs of kimonos out there too, from sequin ones, to ones with fringing. You could get a different kimono for every swimsuit! In this outfit post, I’ve style up a kimono from Primark and it was only £8! I do love a bargain! I was attracted to it, not only because of the price, but because of the colour. White pretty much goes with everything, so if you’re wanting to pack light, this is a great coloured kimono to take away with you.
