A few weeks ago I was asked by Blue Tit London to pop into one of their 4 salons in London and receive a complimentary cut and colour – which was really, really kind of them.
I popped into their salon in Brockley, South West London, not too far away from where I live. The salon was really accessible from the station being a short walk away and was dead easy to find.
The salon looked inviting and had a very cool decor – I loved the 70s vibes from the furniture and wallpaper.
For my haircut I kept it pretty simple and kept with my normal style with the hairdresser taking it up slighting at the back. I was really pleased with the outcome of the cut. Finally someone listened to what I wanted to achieve and did it for me. I find some hairdressers don’t really do what I ask, and I’ve been wanting my hair slightly shorter at the back for while and finally I have it! It sits so much better on my neck now.
For the colour, I still wanted to stick to my statement green shade but I wanted something slightly different. I spoke to the colourist and we decided on going a darker shade of green at my roots and working down to a light shade.
I love the outcome of what was achieved! I have never ever had my hair coloured in a salon before so it was a great experience, and they did a really cool job! Very pleased and would definitely recommend.
