Whilst looking for inspiration on what to wear to Secret Garden Party festival, I realised I wanted to pretty much wear only sequins. I wanted to sparkle away and be a wannabe mermaid throughout the whole thing. I collaborated with a lot of brands for my outfits and was loaned some amazing garments to create statement festival looks.
This was one of the looks I created. When I received both of these sequin items, I just had to pair them together within the same outfit. How sparkly am I?! This outfit got a lot of attention at the festival which was amazing, because there were so many great looks there.
For this look I went out all with a mermaid theme and created a mermaid inspired makeup looks. I had been gifted some fabulous face gems from Karizma London that were scales and shells so these worked really well in creating my mermaid makeup. I focused on creating a crown type look on my forehead and used glitter to shape the look around my eyes. I’m really pleased with how this whole outfit turned out. The headpiece definitely finished it off and gave it that all round festival feel. Feathers at a festival just work hand in hand don’t they!
