BILL+MAR BLOGGER BRUNCH

I was lucky enough to be invited to the edgy brand ‘Bill+Mar‘ blogger brunch today in East London. I was so excited to be asked along! It’s so nice when brands get in contact as they have spotted you and like what they see. Styling is something I attempted as a career but struggled living in London not being paid, but being noticed for my styling through my blog is just such an achievement for me and it makes me so happy. 

So I trekked over to East London to an address I had never been to before and when I arrived it was the flat of Olivia Richardson – a London based Fashion Photographer I had heard tonnes about through her working with such great brands. She had an open plan flat so set up a mini studio in one end and the other was hair and makeup artist Rebekka and brunch food!!! Sweeties, croissants, fruit, sweeties, more sweeties – they knew us bloggers have a sweet tooth! 

I was the first to arrive – I like to arrive early or on time to events especially as it was for such a cool brand. I was asked to pop along with my hair and make up already done so I just went for a classic smokey eye, feline flicks and my new Lime Crime lippy ‘Serpentina‘. Then for my hair I have been loving crimping it with my straighteners recently so I opted for that look. 

I bought along a few bits of jewellery, shoes and bindis to the shoot to style up my looks, but to be honest with you, the clothes spoke for themselves. The lovely team from ‘Bill+Mar‘ had set up a blogger brunch for us to get us altogether for a shoot – so exciting, I can’t wait to see the final images. I am honestly SO grateful that they chose me to showcase their latest SS15 collection which is coming out next week.

Other bloggers that came along were: Charlie, Mpho, Portia, Maria & Laura – a bunch of absolutely stunning ladies whom are all much better models than me!! I felt a bit camera shy at first but I soon got into it with the help of the lovely team. I just hope I werked that camera!

I can’t wait for you all to see Bill+Mar’s SS15 collection, they had made garments with such cool prints such as Grilz & Cactus plants – which actually made me want to get some Cactus plants now – so 90s!
