5 WAYS BLOGGERS CAN SUPPORT EACH OTHER

I’ve heard stories of bloggers getting jealous and stabbing their blogger babes in the back and I find it really sad when I hear them. We all know how hard blogging is, we’ve all been through the sleepless nights of trying to get content up, equipment breaking, memory cards corrupting etc etc… I could go on for a while about how stressful blogging can be sometimes. But then I could also go on about how rewarding it is. To learn new skills and create content you’re so pleased with. Every single blogger knows what everyone else has to go through, so why do I hear negative stories?

It’s sad to see that some friendships have been lost because of blogging. We should all be a team and help one another out; at the end of the day, we are all in this together aren’t we?I love helping out my blogger babes! If it’s advice they need, a little pep talk or help shooting their photos. I’m there! And I know they will be there for me too if I need a favour. I’ve made some amazing friends because of blogging and I’m always happy to help them out.

I thought I’d put together 5 ways bloggers can support one another.

1. PRAISE THEM

When you’ve spotted a fellow blogger’s video or blog post that you like, comment on it! Share it! Shout about how much you like it and why. When you’ve gone through the process of shooting and editing and finally actually uploading your content, it feels worth it when someone notices.

2. HELP ONE ANOTHER OUT

It can be difficult shooting outfit and beauty posts, so why not meet up and shoot together. It’s actually really fun and you’ll find that you can be really productive and shoot like 4 or 5 outfits in a few hours. I’ve shot before with Paige Joanna and Charlotte Hole and I’ve had such a blast doing so. It’s been much easier than my usual ‘tripod down the street on my own’ shoots.

3. OFFER THEM ADVICE

Sometimes Bloggers often get stuck in a rut and need advice. It might be about the type of content they’re producing or whether you think their video editing needs a little work, for example. Be there on hand to give them a boost and a little advice. It might be all they need to get going again.

4. BE A GOOD LISTENER

So us Bloggers do have our down days where we’ve received negative comments on our content, we don’t know what we’re doing anymore or a brand is messing us around. Us bloggers might need to rant a little so be there for when they do. We all know how it works and sometimes someone might need to get something off their chest.

5. COLLABORATE

Do you need a little boost on your YouTube channel, and does your blogger babe need a boost on their Instagram? COLLABORATE! You’ll have so much fun doing so and offer your followers someone new to follow! Nobody follows just 1 person, we all follow someone for different reasons – and I’ve heard this has been an issue in the past for some bloggers. But it’s so much fun filming or shooting with another blogger. So if you haven’t tried it, you must!
