Fashion Stylist

Uncategorized

Today I styled a fashion shoot for MUA Chelsey Willams. My good friend Analise Trotter was on the camera taking some awesome photos whilst I sourced and styled the outfits.
Chelsey’s concept is to create a model portfolio – simple, bold shots of models. She had make up ideas prepared before the shoot and I styled according to them.
I chose a plain black bandeau leotard to begin with combined with heels. This emphasised the models figure.
The next outfit I chose a missguided style outfit. Disco pants, turtle neck too, cross necklace and my own customised sunglasses – leopard print spiked. This was an edgy look however tight fitting so still showed the models figure well.
The last look was a more tailored sharp style. All clothes from H&M. I chose patterned cropped trousers with a shirt in a darker colour taken from the palette of the trousers print. The diamonte collar gave it an extra touch. I then combined a bright yellow blazer with the outfit. Bold bright colours are a SS13 trend and I felt the yellow worked well with the blues. To make an even bigger clash, neons are also a trend so I thought a bright neon pink clutch also featuring diamontes would work well. Another pair of my customised sunglasses were used here too.
I am pleased with how all the styling turned out, it was strong, bold and sharp.
