FASHION STYLIST: Shoot
FAM IRVOLL COLLABORATES WITH TOPSHOP
I had the fabulous opportunity of styling Fam Irvoll & Topshop’s collaboration for Spindle Magazine last week! I absolutely LOVE Fam’s designs, they are quirky, innovative and unique. She really does think outside the box and incorporate not only fashion but art in to her designs and ideas.
As the clothing was already prepared, all I had to do was source shoes, jewellery and accessories for the shoot. I emailed many brands and managed to pull shoes from The Whitepepper and Irregular Choice and jewellery from Only Child. Some of the accessories such as the floral crowns, were handmade by myself.
The garments Fam has created are in pastel shades featuring prints of animals/creatures. The fabrics are loose fitting, great for SS14, and the idea and colour palette fit in to the current trends as well. The pieces are available to purchase from Topshops UK Flagship store on Oxford Street today. 
For the hair, the hair stylist had lots of creative ideas. She combined chalks with hair extensions and came up with a different hair style for each shot.
For the make up, the MUA decided on a strong statement lip for each shot and the colour would compliment the background colour. This worked really well.
Overall I am extremely happy with these shots, I think they ooze playfulness which is what Fam Irvoll is all about.
