I absolutely LOVE the current Pastel trend, especially how it is progressing in to SS14 as well. The pale pinks, baby blues, mint greens and lilacs, the colour palette is to die for. I love going in to shops such as Topshop and New Look and seeing their visual displays of their mannequins all dressed in pastel colours with pastel or white hair. It seemed the perfect timing to write a pastel blog post as it is sunny outside in London today and because I blogged about pastel hair yesterday. It just looks fab. I wish I could own everything in pastel. At the moment I am craving a pale pink boyfriend blazer coat, I have seen one in New Look I adore but money is tight at the moment, its so sad. I am just going to have to wait.
Whilst researching the pastel trend, I decided to pull some cool images that inspire me. Does anyone remember My Little Pony or the Trolls toys we had in the 90s? Well when I saw them it instantly brought back memories, they are all in pastel shades and was perfect inspiration for this trend.
