I am LOVING the colour yellow at the moment. The weather is very up and down and was even raining again today, so I feel having yellow in my life brightens up the dullest of days.
Jones and Jones were very kind to send me this fabulous yellow shift dress named ‘Adrienne‘; its sunflower yellow featuring an embroidered organza overlay and a cute scallop hem line. I styled this dress down in this feature, however I think it is the perfect dress for a summer wedding or party too, if dressed up of course. This will definitely make you stand out from the crowd on a hot summers day. The A-line structure of this dress is very flattering on most figures as it hides ones waistline, so girls if you get bloated easily this is the dress for you! There is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable all night in a figure hugging dress. This dress “means no worries, for the rest of your days”…

I chose to style this outfit rather dressed down to create more of a day outfit. I combined it with a cute mini leather look backpack to give it a 90s edge and a pair of on trend white cleated sole sandals. Cleated sandals are big this summer and are a definite staple for ones wardrobe. In terms of jewellery, I styled it with a plain gold chunky chain. They were very in last year, but I’m still sticking with mine, as it just goes with everything! I also paired it with some floral earrings from Topshop; I thought these complimented the floral embroidered pattern on the dress. I hope you like it, feel free to let me know your thoughts!
