So I did it! I am finally going to Ibiza and I cannot wait! As you can tell I am an Ibiza virgin; I have always wanted to go and see what all the fuss is about and boogie my ass off! I’m actually going to Ibiza twice this Summer as well – the first time at the end of June with the company ‘Flossy Style’ whom I am the Creative Assistant for. I am helping them shoot and promote through social media their SS15 campaign shoot. So I am dead excited about that as well; it will give me a cheeky insight into Ibiza and I will be able to get to know the place whilst driving around shooting at different locations, so I will be ready for when I go at the end of September. YES! I am going for Closing Parties – I have heard they are amazing! And if I’m gonna do Ibiza, I’m gonna hit it hard and go at the best time.
I’m going with my flat mate Annie – both party animals – you kinda have to be if your going to Ibiza. We spent days looking at flights and hotels and trying to find a good deal. I phoned around so many online travel agencys as well and the cost of going for 5 nights was ridiculous. I know it’s Ibiza, and I know it’s closing parties, but c’mon. It’s expensive enough as it is when your out there. However, we had some luck and managed to find a cheap flight for around £120 return from Stansted but flying back to Gatwick with Easy Jet – so that was brill! And then hotel wise we found a few cheap ones but after reading negative reviews such as ‘you will get robbed’, ‘there will be sand in your bed’, ‘it did smell of urine’ – we decided to pay a little bit extra for somewhere which had a nice review! So we chose the ‘Hotel Club La Noira’ based in Playa D’en Bossa – YUP we are staying in party central – best place to be I heard. San Antonio is a lot cheaper to stay but when you weigh it up with taxi prices and how much travelling you’d be doing we thought it would be much more suited to us to stay in Bossa. Also with the closing parties we know our schedule as there are limited events every day, so we have worked out what we are doing and the POA – but that could still all change as we are very much go with the flow kinda gals. Anyway the hotel price came to £272 between us so £136 each, so with the flight and 1 checked in suitcase between us it came to £270ish each. Which is actually really really good for 5 nights and in Bossa. We booked the hotel through Low Cost Holidays, I’ve booked with them before so I know they are legit. I hate it sometimes when you hear bad stories of booking online through random travel agencys… The stories of turning up at the airport/hotel and your name not being booked in, god I would not be able to deal with that!
In regards to the closing parties we checked the following sites to get the latest information about different events and schedules, and when it gets nearer to the time we are also going to purchase tickets through these sites as well.
