I was lucky enough to attend LoveBox Festival last Saturday for the online shopping and fashion app Shopcade. I’m one of their Fashion Correspondents so it was a fab opportunity to attend and cover the festival for them.
I was looking out for hot festival street style on Saturday and photographed all the cool looks I spotted there. And can I say there were some fabulously dressed girls and guys there!
And of course, I had to get dulled up myself. I had a panic at what to wear in the morning as I had been away in Barcelona I had no time to prepare. So I decided to opt for a two piece from Pretty Little Thing. A two piece is easy as you’ve got the top and bottoms sorted – I didn’t want to stress over what bottoms to wear with what top! So it was a great choice from me. Festivals, I feel, is the only place one can get away with over accessorising. I mean I think one can over accessorise all the time, but I feel like you don’t get judged at a festival. You can dress as simply, or as crazy as you want. So when accessorising my outfit, I opted for the on trend Body Chain, oversized Indian Nose Ring, large Bindi, a necklace, frilly socks, Cat Boots and Divine Ink London Tatts! And can I just say these tattoos are absolutely amazing! I love them! They are so easy to apply, you just cut one out, peel off the plastic layer, place the image face down on your skin, wet the back and voila!! Your all good to go with fab metallic tattoos on your skin! Perfect for a sunny day as they glisten from the suns reflection. Everyone needs to check out Divine Ink London as with summer festivals and holidays coming up, they are the perfect accessory.

TWO PIECE – Pretty Little Thing (Paradox collection)
KIMONO – Pretty Little Thing
SILVER NECKLACE – H&M
BODY CHAIN – River Island
TATTOOS – Divine Ink London
BOOTS – Cat Footwear
BUMBAG – Charity Shop
So that was my outfit. Now on to all of yours. I spotted wellies, two pieces, mesh, unitards, nike trainers, bindis and so many pairs of Jeepers Peepers sunglasses – the exact pair I have!
Here are a few of my fave looks I snapped at the festival:
LoveBox itself had such a cool vibe, and it was in such a handy location…. A 15 minute walk from my flat in London – couldn’t have been more perfect. As you entered the festival you were greeted by giant flags and sniffer dogs – LOL – and then as you entered you got to see the vast field with stages, food stalls and bars. There was a lot going on. We headed over to the Yahoo tent as my friends had been the day before and said they have a photo booth – and I’m a sucker for a photo booth! We chose the ‘Rock n Roll’ set, all inclusive of props. We decided to be original and spell out L O V E in our photo. Or try to at least… What do you think of our attempt?
After our cheeky snap, we strolled around the festival taking in the sun and snapping our fave festival looks on the way. There were dressed trees in tutus – a cute idea – a hammock area – another cute idea – they really did try and offer a range of activities along with the music. There was even a bungee jump and a roller disco!! They definitely created a lifestyle within the festival. The one thing I would say I didn’t enjoy, was the heat! Nothing to do with the festival. Seriously why did the weather man not warn us? He said rain all day! There was definitely NO rain at all! I was prepared as well with my new rain mac! I suppose I did prefer it being sunny, but sweating at a festival is not fun. I’m so glad for the amount of shade around as it was set in Victoria Park – there were lots of trees!
The music at the festival was sooo good! We managed to watch Jess Glynn, Nas, Banks and Ben Pearce. Everyone was amazing and the atmosphere was quality.
LoveBox you did good.
Peace x
