I collaborated with the brand ‘Rock on Ruby Tees’ to design my OWN crop tee! I was so excited with their offer and couldn’t wait to get started.
Rock On Ruby offer a range of slogan tees and accessories on their website AND you can even create your own! That’s exactly what I did. When creating your own, you get to choose:
– the style of tee
– colour of tee
– font style
– font colour
– slogan
For mine I am a huge lover of black and gold, so I opted for a black 90s style crop tee with gold text. I didn’t really know what slogan I wanted, so I used instagram for inspiration and I came across the perfect quote for me…
‘YOU CAN STAY BUT YOUR OUTFIT HAS TO GO’
I am a huge lover of fashion and styling, I still do a bit of freelance styling on the side so I know when something looks good. If your outfit is a ‘no no’ it has to go! Haha! A witty, fashion quote was the perfect for my crop tee! when Rock on Ruby sent the design through I was so excited to actually get the real thing!
Here is the final garment:
Styling it up, I wanted to keep it simple so chose my grey, acid wash Topshop Joni jeans and Dr.Martens. They were perfect in creating a simple look and putting all the attention on my tee and the slogan. Because of the 90s style of tee I accessoried with my fave statement Moxham necklace and 90s choker. A stylish, bold look for the day.
