Hi all! So with Halloween around the corner, I thought I’d share with you some of my costumes I wore over the recent years. I absolutely LOVE dressing up, it’s my ultimate fave and I always go full out! Make up, accessories, THE LOT!
The one thing that annoys me about Halloween is that some people decide to opt for just fancy dress… Like Red Riding Hood or a pretty Cinderella. NO. JUST NO. Halloween is meant to be about blood and gore – be a dead Cinderella – at least you’ll be scary! Everyone’s gotta have some fake blood on them somewhere.
I hope some of my costumes inspire you for your looks this Halloween. When it came to figuring out what I was going to wear and how to do my make up, I would check out hashtags on Instagram for inspiration and try and find a make up video on youtube to help me out. So here’s my looks – (on a few of them I’ve put a mini montage of pieces that you would need to make the look).
DEAD MILEY CYRUS
This gruesome look needed moulding wax for around the eye to peel back and make it look as if you have a gash. I also wore black contact lenses.
SCARY CLOWN
This was the BEST OUTFIT EVER! Everyone was petrified of me, it was amazing scaring everyone! This clown make up look I found on Instagram & copied.
MUMMY
This was a fun outfit as I wrapped bandages and loo roll around my whole entire body…. it was interesting trying to go to the toilet, so make sure you attach the bottom half to the shorts so you can go!
ZOMBIE BRIDE
I got a vintage ball gown style dress which was all ripped, wore a veil & floral headband and gruesome make up. I made my make up look as if it were stitched.
SKELETON
For this look I used a youtube video and followed the instructions. I didn’t have any face paint so had to use acrylic…. DON’T DO THIS! You literally cannot get it off haha! Get proper face paints.
