5Fashion Topshop Street Style Notting Hill London

Last weekend I met up with a Uni friend so she could take some lovely, blogger snaps of me for her portfolio and for my blog! I was totally stoked about it because all of my photos on my blog are just me in my flat in the evening taking snaps on self timer. I really want to make my photography much better on my blog so this is just the beginning!

The photographer – ASHLEIGH AMY BELL (all links below) was absolutely fab! It was so nice to catch up after not seeing each other since finishing Uni. We met up at Notting Hill tube station and strolled down to Portabello Market with the huge crowds. We didn’t even think that on a Saturday morning it would be heaving! However, this didn’t matter, we worked the crowds and snuck off down some side roads as well. I styled up 4 different outfits for the shoot, so I’m going to post them all individually over the next week.

This particular outfit I styled up consisted of two pieces from 5FASHION that were a FIVER!! YUP you heard it, both pieces were £5 each!! Such a bargain – I just love a bargain! They have a section on their website for items £5 & under and there are some really nice, on trend pieces on there. I opted for this lace leopard black cami top and pale grey a-line skirt. I am really loving wearing skirts at the moment in the day and pairing them with tights and sneakers for a casual look.

Styling up this particular look, because we were outside and it was absolutely freezing, I paired the top and skirt with my leather jacket, thigh high boots and floppy hat. And to finish it off I wore my monochrome back pack. A very cool, edgy, statement look, perfect for a shopping trip or lunch leading into the eve.
