ADIDAS #SUPERSTAR GIRLS LAUNCH

Uncategorized
So last night I got invited to Adidas’s #SUPERSTAR Girls launch to celebrate the classic Adidas Originals. Adidas teamed up with Anti-Agency for the launch and I’m sure you will love the campaign they’ve created.

Trainers aren’t just about wearing them for sport, they have become a staple fashion item for every girls wardrobe. This is where Adidas Originals X Anti-Agency come in. They teamed up with make-up and Hair stylists Khalani Twins and photographer Olivia Richardson to create a set of images that have taken the shoe from sports culture to sub-culture. They have shown how wearable it can be for a fashionista. Here are just 2 of the fab images they created:

You can see that they have made the classic trainer stylish with an urban twist. I absolutely love the styling here – you’d never think of wearing a pair of trainers with a PVC skirt, but they have proved that it works.
The event held at their Adidas Originals store just off of Carnaby Street in London saw Neneh Cherry spinning the music and a host of London’s hottest all female creatives come together to celebrate adidas Originals Superstar SS15. Branded meringues were provided by the Meringue Girls, Trefoil nails by Jessica Thompson (Glossin Nails), Digi Fairy partnered up with photographer Olivia Richardson to create the Gif booth and event photography by Harley Moon Kemp.
The store had been transformed with a giant glitter Adidas logo (which I loved – what girl doesn’t love glitter!), silver streamers hanging off the walls, a sparkly stage set up and shoes displayed around the room. It was the perfect venue to host there seeing as it was actually their store.
The lovely team at Adidas also gifted us all a pair of the Adidas Original Superstars – I got my hands on the all white pair, which I LOVE! So so cool, I can’t wait to wear them! So kind of them to gift every girl that attended!

So whilst I sipped on champers and nibbled on a meringue or two I got snap happy and took some pics using my new camera – and might I add, I lurveee the snaps I took, the camera was so easy to use and I love the way the images turned out.

Were any of you at the event? If not, what are your thoughts on the trainers and styling of the campaign?
Peace
