I am an absolute sucker for anything mesh/see-through! I just love layering my jersey triangle bra and high waisted shorts underneath mesh garments – it just creates an outfit with an edge. I know to some it might be a bit too revealing, but by pairing a mesh garment with high waisted bottoms most your middle half is covered up and then wearing my thigh high boots covers up most my leg.
This mesh dress I have styled up is from the London based fashion brand ‘Lu La Loop‘ – a brand made with a feeling for playful, youthful and musical energy along with an excited, strong, dark and fun look. This mesh dress combines a lot of different elements such as the playfulness with the polkas but then a strong edge with the styling you can create with the piece. I just adore it! You don’t have to wear black with it either. Being a pale white you could wear a bold, bright colour underneath if you’re more the sassy type. I also LOVE how cool it looks with my tattoos – especially my most recent one, the Mandala. My tatts don’t tend to be seen unless I wear garments like this, so it’s nice to get em out once in a while.
The collection this dress is from is themed in metallics, holographics and cosmic. It’s got a spacey vibe to it which I love. Lucy uses graphic prints, bold colours and different textures to create her collections. I just love it when I find a niche designer that offers something else other than the ‘normal’ fashion trends. If you’ve never heard of Lu La Loop before then I’d definitely recommend you heading over to her site and taking a nose. Even if you don’t like edgy fashion you can just admire her designs.
Peace
