LINZI SHOES PRESS DAY

SUMMERS COMING! That is the exact vibe I got from Linzi Shoes Press Day today! I was so glad they were holding their press day until 7.30pm as it meant I was able to pop there after work. They held the press day in Soho in a large open room which was filled with tonnes of shoes!

Any girls dream. They had such a vast range of shoes in so many different styles and colours. One thing I love about Linzi Shoes is that there is something for everyone. They don’t just target us fashionistas – there is something for your little Sister and even your Mum. The press day was to showcase their SS15 range and boy were there quite a few pairs of shoes I just have to get my hands on this summer. From summer jellies, to loafers, chunky platform shoes and going out heels, there were shoes for every occasion. It got me really excited for summer and holidays… Something I need to start thinking about and booking but I just can’t decide where to go! 

They laid out their shoes in their separate collections – loafers, sandals, sneakers, jellies, cleated soles etc. Then to jazz up their display they featured cute candles, buckets, flamingo straws and sweeties – it was such a cute display. I was eyeing up one of their lanterns… I had spotted one in TKMaxx recently and now I’m gutted I didn’t get it. I spent a little time looking around their collection, snapping away and picking out all the styles I loved. Then I chose my fave pair and got snapped by the lovely Linzi team. There were drinks on hand and naughty snacks and at the end I was able to choose a pair of jelly shoes to take away along with a cute goodie bag. 

Not only were there fab shoes displayed, there was an LA Based nail varnish brand ‘NCLA‘ there ready to jazz up everyones fingers. I was in a bit of a rush and my nails are rubbish and chip so I didn’t get my nails done, but I chatted to the team whom were presenting the brand. The range of their varnishes were amazing. They had everything from holographics to pastels to nudes and classic colours. The bottles were a decent size and came in such a cute packaging with the logo ‘Enjoy a Little California Love on Your Fingertips’. The brand is big in LA and has recently just be brought to the UK which I am totally excited about. The luxury brand goes hand in hand with fashion as it teams with celebs and designers to collaborate on their collections and also themes their colours along the latest ones on the catwalk. A great idea for a beauty brand to do. Their imagery is strong and all created in house which is amazing for a brand to do and say they have done. Not only do they have nail varnishes, they are most recognised for their nail wraps – which are so so cool! They have a tonne of designs and prints and they’re easy to use (I got a mini tutorial off the NCLA team at the event). 

The event was absolutely lovely and was so so nice to meet the faces behind the Linzi brand – a wonderful team. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Their new styles are slowly being added online and in their stores over the next month or so, so keep your eyes peeled for some fabulous shoes!
