MOSCHINO AW15

Did you all catch the MOSCHINO AW15 show last night? It was SO cool! Bugs Bunny has become our AW style icon; the Looney Tunes are back and Moschino basically dedicated nearly their whole collection to the cartoon series. I used to LOVE the Looney Tunes back in the day. It reminds me of the film ‘Space Jam’ with Michael Jordan – what a film! I was a bit of a geek and had the Playstation game of the film too… One of my childhood highlights. It makes me happy because I feel like the 70s aren’t going to takeover AW15 anymore; the 90s is still going to be strong! 

The collection featured sport vibes with baseball jerseys, oversized puff jackets, caps, bucket hats and  overalls. Not forgetting the ever so famous Moschino bear, he’s basically become a new member of the Looney Tunes now. Every person whom attended the show got a Moschino bear on their seat – jealous! OMG and the teddy bear jacket with a bear detailed hood! Jeremy Scott has done it again. He keeps it fresh and takes inspiration from well known characters from our pasts and makes it fashionable, wearable and desirable. I love to stand out from the crowd, so designers like Jeremy Scott for Moschino get me excited as their shows are always exactly how I dress and aspire to dress like. 

I wonder what will be his next inspiration? Polly Pockets, Scooby Doo and Dennis The Menace come to mind…
