I collaborated with Rokit, the vintage brand recently on a campaign called #BestDressedForLess – I’ll be popping a blog post up about the collab soon – the idea was to buy a whole look costing only £40 which is nothing these days. You can go into shops and hardly get a decent top for £40!
These white jeans were part of my look and cost £25, which is a really great price for them if you compare to getting a pair of jeans from the high street. I absolutely love the style of these, I love how they are tight around my ankles and loose but fitted up the rest of my leg. They’re a mom/boyfriend jeans style which I never usually opt for however when I tried these on I fell in love with the style and fit. I went for white because summer is just around the corner, and everything goes with white.
I thought it would be cool to do a classic blogger photo with a pug dog, forgot I was wearing white jeans though and I’m pretty sure you can guess what happened to them afterwards…. Muddy paw prints up both legs! I had to pop Bruno (puggys name) back inside halfway through shooting because my jeans were getting muddier and muddier. He loves jumping up at me for some reason. He is still a puppy and because I don’t live at home he gets excited when I come back because he remembers I always play ball games with him.
Styling the jeans up, because they’re high waisted, I thought I’d pair my summery cactus print crop top with mesh insert. The mesh insert is white too so it complimented the jeans and my hair of course. With shoes I wanted a bit of height with the loose fitting jeans, so my flatform sandals gave me that.
I love the look I put together and will be wearing it out soon for sure. Have any of you ever popped into Rokit or been on their website and bought anything? They have such a great range of vintage on offer and even a collection they rework.
