How amazing is this mermaid top from Nasty Gal? I was lucky enough to randomly walk past their new shop in Santa Monica, LA when I was there.
It was so cool and I wanted to buy like everything in there. I was attracted to this top instantly, because of the colour, it’s shimmer and the fact it looked mermaidy. The top is actually from Ragged Priest but being sold through Nasty Gal.
On 4th July I felt like I should wear red, blue and white to represent the American flag. I kinda felt like the Americans would have, and I was in their country so I wanted to respect their day. However not many people actually wore red, blue and white? I mean my outfit was as close to it as possible because I didn’t have anything in those colours really. My makeup on the other hand, was very 4th July. I managed to create a look out of the American flag colours. I wore blue mascara, white liner and red on my lips.
My favourite thing about this top is the sleeves. I love how they flare out, and they sort of look like a mermaids tail. Ragged Priest is a brand I love, mainly because of it’s quirkiness. Styling it up I paired it with my mermaidy Missguided sandals, white shorts and layered a white crochet crop underneath the top as it was see through.
