This outfit is getting me SO excited for summer. What’s better than chilling by a pool with a cocktail and some fresh pineapple – I’m missing out watermelon because I absolutely hate it! It’s got the weirdest taste. Some of you are probably thinking ‘you hate watermelon? Weirdo!’ but honestly, it’s gross, I don’t think I’ll ever like it.
This cute two piece is a combination of a tank style crop and jersey mini skirt. I love the bold print against the white, the fruit really stands out. The repetitive print is simple but it’s just so perfect for summer.
Styling this up for you all, I didn’t just want to put the two piece on and leave it as that. So I thought I’d show how you can wear it with a jacket. Because of the green within the print, I thought my vintage mint green jacket would pair really well. The length of the jacket is perfect with this skirt as you can still see it poking out.
With shoes and accessories, I thought I’d keep it simple with two of my many choker necklaces and my comfy white sliders. This look is a fab outfit for a summer holiday or a sunny day out. The sliders make the whole look casual which works well with the two piece as that’s pretty casual too being a jersey material.
