HOW TO STYLE AN OVERSIZED VINTAGE SHIRT

KLOTH Vintage have an amazing, huge range of vintage garments on offer for men & women. And I just had to get my hands on this fab pastel print oversized shirt. So nice isn’t it?!

Some people think styling up vintage can be rather difficult. Styling it up in a contemporary way is the hardest part. You don’t want to look as if you’ve just walked out of the 80s – unless that’s your style of course. So I thought I’d share with you how I styled this up.

Oversized shirts look fab with jeans – skinny, straight cut or boyfriend look best. I opted for my light blue, ripped boyfriend style jeans as the light shade paired well with the pastel colours within the shirt. Then to tie in the black within the print shirt, I paired my black flatform boots with the look. I usually wouldn’t pair black shoes with light blue, but I recently stalked Rita Ora on Instagram and she did it and it looked awesome!

I finished off with accessorising; I teamed my white fluffy bag, gold chain and gold palm leaf earrings with the outfit. I’m totally in love with how I styled this shirt up though. It’s so current and the shirts been brought to life.

I’ve also shown how you can either have the whole shirt out or tuck half of it into the jeans. I think it looks pretty cool either way to be honest, but each to their own.
