I thought I’d style up a bit of a spring summer outfit for you all because the weather is (fingers crossed) getting slightly better… Probably going to speak too soon! With this look I wanted to incorporate florals and pastels – two big trends that come around every spring. I also wanted to create a wearable, everyday look too with not too much effort involved and that anyone can throw together.
I recently was sent this cute floral fabric strappy top from Miss Foxy & this bold floral print graphic jumper from Another 8 and I thought they would go perfect together. Styling them up I knew my pastel pink Joni Jeans would work well with the overall vibe of the look. And because I wanted to keep the main outfit quite light as I wanted the jumper to POP, I opted for white chunky sandals. These have appeared in quite a few of my outfits recently actually… I don’t mean to wear the same, but they just go with everything! I love having shoes that do that. Lastly to add a little sass to the look, I popped on my fluffy earrings. I thought, why the heck not!!
What do you think of this look? If you get a bit chilly, you can wrap the jumper around your shoulders or even pop it on. It still works well with the overall look. I love having it tied round my waist though,it just makes the outfit POP and adds another element and detail. Who cares if you might not actually wear the jumper, it’s great as a styling tool.
