Now some of you may have seen my recent blog post ‘Loverpool‘ featuring a fabulous print bikini from Project 104. Well you might find the bikini above fairly similar, and you’d be right in thinking that as the bikini is the exact same style as the one in that blog post. However this particular one is just all jet black.
If you’re not one for big, bold, in your face prints then this black coloured bikini is the one for you. Or if your style is rather grunge & 90s then this swimsuit would work for you as well. Will an all black bikini I feel like you can dress it up a bit more with accessories compared to a print one. I love how this bikini makes my tattoos pop out because they’re all black and grey. I also love how it really compliments my 90s style and vibe I bring to my looks. This swimsuit again makes my hair pop and I’ve styled it up with a few choker necklaces and a loose spiked belt. I’ve seen quite a few girls out in Ibiza for example dressing up their swimwear, and I love that look. This belt was just £4 from Primark and works really well with the black colour swimsuit and gold detail from the rings.
A lot of girls like black and that’s because it’s slimming. I love black due to the same reason but also because it’s on trend and 90s. The high waisted bottoms work well if you’ve got a curvy figure like me, they accentuate your waist and cover a bit more skin so perfect for day to evening looks in party places like Ibiza.
Don’t forget sunglasses with your swimsuits. We Are Submarine sell some really, really nice ones that are fab. I opted for their black Amalfi shades which have sort of a square cat eye style to them. These sunglasses work perfectly with an all jet black swimwear look and finish off the styling. These sunglasses are 100% handmade and have amazing lenses in them produced by Carl Zeiss. And you know how sunglasses can feel light and thin sometimes… Well these don’t. They’re sturdy and come in a beaut case to keep them from getting scratched and broken – I’ve broken a tonne of sunglasses before because I never had a case!
