This is the last garment I chose from my Showroom trip to Style London. This stunning, tapestry style boxy top stood right out when it was hanging on their rails and I just had to have it!

The best thing about this top is the colours. They all work so well together and I LOVE the gold – I am a big big fan of anything gold! It has a nice vintagey touch to it as well which vintage is something I have always loved but with my style I started to steer away from it. My boyfriend never liked me shopping in charity shops you see – which is where you could find amazing vintage bargains! And whilst at uni a lot of my clothes went damp so had to chuck them away. I haven’t been back charity shopping for ages but now having this top, it’s made me want to go again… I feel a bargain hunt coming soon!
Styling this beautiful top up I thought I’d pick out a colour and combine a plain garment in that chosen colour to work with the top. I chose lilac and paired my Pretty Little Thing dress with it. The dress acted as a skirt and works really well. As I said in a previous post, when you have a statement piece within your outfit, you can make it stand out more if your subtle with the rest of the look. Teaming my Nans vintage clutch bag with the look finishes it off nicely.
