I was sent this lovely on trend monochrome crop top recently from 5FASHION and what a lovely garment it is. It’s so versatile – you can dress it up or down. I love garments that you can do that with. The material of the top makes it suitable to wear in the evening, it feels dressy. But paired with a casual pair of jeans you can get away with it in the day also.
Monochrome is such a hot trend this AW14 and everyone needs at least 1 staple monochrome piece in their wardrobe. The best thing about monochrome is that you can either keep the look simple and pair it with all black or splash a bit of colour into the look.

Styling this up I wanted to create a dressed down, evening look. I had to get my knee high boots in there didn’t I! They’re honestly my fave boots at the moment and perfect for evening attire. Oh and they’re bang on trend! I paired these with my past season Motel Rocks shorts embellished with crosses. These hot pant style shorts work great with the boxy crop as it balances the look out.
Adding in the burgundy fur scarf just added a nice splash of colour into the look. I just wanted to show you that you can add more than just black. The burgundy colour keeps the look tied in with AW too which is perfect. This also looks cool with my Mac Diva lipstick.
