Last week on Friday I modelled Gemma Goldstone’s latest collection for this AW14. Her collection, as Gemma says “is all about going from day to night effortlessly with vampy cami dresses and sports luxe purples getting ready for party season with a sparkle. Staying true to our 90’s girl Vibez, we have introduced more affordable pieces alongside our signature fluffy bomber jackets in statement lilac and candy floss pink to run alongside our easygoing monochromes creating outfits for all occasions”. And can I just add, her collection is SO cool! If you’re a 90s chick at heart; which I definitely am, then you will LOVE all of her pieces. The shoot was based in Shoreditch down the quirky streets of Brick Lane. Gemma styled the shoot whilst Lucy Richards photographed it and what a pair they were! We roamed the streets of Shoreditch finding the best locations possible to shoot in – think street art, rugged brickwork and metal fences/doors. All of the backdrops worked well for the style and vibe of Gemma’s collection.Lucy was a fab photographer, she knew exactly what she wanted to capture and had a great eye for poses and locations.I cannot wait to see the final imagery from the shoot and the finished article, a Look Book! But for now, here’s a sneak peek at behind the scenes.
