STYLING JOB
A couple of months ago I had a styling job with the up and coming music artist, Flossy LB – http://flossylb.tumblr.com/ where I was given the opportunity to style her first ever music video for her latest song ‘Venom’.
I had recently collaborated with her on her tumblr blog and styled a few looks for her. Her style is very much a classic, sophisticated look. Think 50s, Bridgette Bardot. For her music video, her inspiration was film noir, femme fatale and lingerie. She wanted to achieve lingerie themed outfits with the addition of classic jewellery, fur and a statement style ball gown. I loved the idea and was very inspired by it.
To pull clothing for the shoot, I contact London based PR companies and informed them of my job. I managed to get a few places to lend to me which was fab! I pulled some amazing pieces.
On set, I was there on standby prepping the wardrobe, styling the artist Flossy and also her male actor that was involved. It was a fantastic day and I cannot wait till the video is released. It is going to be aired this Friday 18th April. Watch this space.
