Ok everyone, I can tell that this is what you have been waiting for! I attended London Fashion Week this season and my it was shattering but it was so good! I saw some amazing designs on the catwalk and some cool trendy looks on the street.
This is DAY 1:
The shows I got to attend today were:
– Jean-Pierre Braganza
– Lulu Liu
– Fyodor Golan
– Ones to Watch
Boy were all those shows amazing in their own way.
JEAN-PIERRE BRAGANZA
This collection feature sharp tailoring, boxy garments, religious graphics, gingham, monochrome, leather and navy.
LULU LIU
This collection featured pleats, florals, dip dye heels, layering, sheer fabrics and fur.
FYODOR GOLAN
I still cannot get over Fyodor Golan’s Nokia phone skirt at the beginning of the show. It was insanely cool and creative. I loved the fact that there was a video being played over each of the screens too to create a moving image print.
The rest of the collection featured gold, fluro pink, fur, metallics, pvc, cornrows, braids, holographics and detailing. Definitely one of my favourite collections.
ONES TO WATCH
Carrie Ann Stein, Sarah Ryan, Hiroko Nakajima & George Styler feature in this seasons ‘One to Watch’ and boy you all better keep your eyes peeled. Seriously their designs were eye-catching and original. I am in love with George Styler now though, you all need to check him out! His detailing and embellishment are to die for.
Throughout each designer’s collection, I noticed weaving, braids, graphics, pop art colour palettes, structure, embellishment and attention to detail.
Wow, that was only Day 1!! So much more to come from the shows and the street.
Peace x
